Growing and Growing
Yesterday I bought this basket for Sadie's toys. As soon as it was full of her toys she had it dumped out, her mouth open ready to chew on anything that got close enough.
She is getting close to being able to crawl. She can sit up without falling over, even in the bath tub. She likes to sit up in her crib and look out at what we are doing while she plays with her stuffed animals.

Happenings Since Thanksgiving
So for Christmas my parents got Sadie this jumper seat (it was a little early because we were down there for thanksgiving and she needed a seat.) I think she wears herself out jumping, she tends to jump very fast for about 15 minutes then gets tired.

Yet another funny way she has fallen asleep. In other news Sadie has cut a tooth on bottom. I am so excited, I can't wait to see her with teeth. And speaking of teeth, I had two of my wisdom teeth out on the 1st. Half of my face was huge for about a week, it is finally starting to get better. I haven't been up to too much lately, just making all my own ornaments out of paper and new headbands and felt flowers for Sadie. Scott isn't doing too much but we might be going back to California for a job. He is still working for his uncle, they just picked up a job out there for a few months. I hope everything works out with it, it would be nice to have a winter without snow. I only have one complaint in my life right now and that would be with unemployment. Over the last month they have only sent us $10. It is so frustrating that you can't get help from where you are supposed to when you need it. Oh well. Sorry I don't have any thanksgiving pictures, my mom took them all and I am still waiting to get them myself.

What we will be doing next week
So we actually have some news. It is nothing big but I am excited. For thanksgiving this year I get to go home to California. I haven't been home and had my mom's cooking for thanksgiving in three years. Yesterday Scott called me and told me he was on his way home from the Dr.'s office. He had cut his finger open and had to get 4 stitches. I guess our vacation is coming at the perfect time since he can't really work. My mom said that my dad is thinking about taking us to the beach for a day or two while we are down as well. I am so excited.

Our day

Sadie is 5 months old.
Sadie turned 5 months yesterday. It is hard to believe that it has been that long since I was in the hospital having her. She is such a good girl. She sleeps through the night in her own room, I think that she couldn't care less if we were in the room with her or not. She can roll around wherever she wants. I thing that she has a tooth coming in on the bottom but it doesn't seem to bug her too much.

This is for Great Grandma

Just another Sadie post
This is Sadie's new way of riding in her swing. I left the room for only a minute and this is what I found when I came back.
Maybe she just wanted her blanket. She is at that stage when everything in reaching distance goes in her mouth. She doesn't have any teeth yet, I say that she is like a great white shark, she wants to know what it is so it has to go in the mouth so she can taste it.
We went shopping with grandma (Scott's mom) the other day and we found this really cute hat, now I want one just like it.

Sadie at the Pumpkin patch and as a pea pod for a halloween party
So after reading the Buies blog about the pumpkin patch in Idaho Falls we decided to check it out too. Even though the fields were a little less than perfect we had a really fun time, and Sadie got her first pumpkin for only $3.

She wouldn't stop looking at the ground, I think she liked the dead vines.

She got really tired at the party so we let her sleep for a while in her carseat after we got home.

Sadie Eating
She is smiling at Daddy.
Our Little Bug (nothing ever happens to us)

There is still not much going on with Scott or Me but Sadie seems to never run out of news. Lately she has started to ride in the cart at the grocery store. She needs a little support but she does pretty well on her own. She has also developed a new habit of sucking her bottom lip. She is so funny. One thing did happen to Scott this weekend. He accidentally trimmed off too much of his beard and now it is really short. That is our news.

Pictures of Sadie and News
So Sadie can grab her feet very well now and roll over. She is doing well. She just keeps growing and learning. As for us, we are doing well. Scott wants to get this camper trailer. It is a '77 and I think that it needs more work than we can afford, but he is really excited to have a place to stay when he goes hunting and camping. The season opens this weekend and so I will be a hunters widow for a few months again. I hope that it doesn't take him very long to get something so that he can be home more this winter. I can't believe how cold it has already gotten. It is weird to watch the temperature drop after getting up rather than going up.
I am really excited for the holidays. I keep thinking about thanksgiving. Hopefully I will get to go home this year, it has been 3 years since I went home for thanks giving. I miss my moms cooking, she is seriously the best. We (my whole family) keep trying to convince her that she needs to open a resturant. Well anyway, I have to go and feed my little bug.

What's Going On
This is Sadie giving me the "what are you doing mom" look. Things seem to be getting crazy lately. It is so hard to see a way out of our financial problems. Things keep building and building. I just wish I had one easy answer to just one of our problems. There doesn't seem to be much that we can do though. Sadie is doing great. She is starting to laugh and roll on her side. I think that she may walk before she crawls. I should be giving her more tummy time. I guess I just can't help myself, she is just too cute to put down for too long.
