Goodbye to a good friend

I am writing this post with a very heavy heart. Today my mom took my dog Lexi to the vet to be put to sleep. She was starting to get really bad and my mom knew it was time. I got Lexi for my tenth birthday. She was the sweetest most loyal dog I have known and I am utterly heart broken when I think that she will no longer be there when I go home to my family. She will always be in my heart and I know that she is finally released from the pain that has plagued her body the last year. And so I say goodbye my sweet Lexi dog.

I know it has been forever since my last post. Life is just busy with nothingness. Since my last post a lot has happened. Our trip to Montana was fun. I really enjoyed glacier national park. Out of the parks that I have been to it was one of my favorites. I would most definitely suggest it to anyone and tell them to plan for hiking and fishing. After we got back I decided to spend some time at home before going down to Cali to see my family. Sadie and I left for California on the 30th of July. We took the shuttle down to salt lake and then caught a flight into Sacramento. I have to say for her first time flying Sadie did really well. There wasn't any crying or whining on her part, okay maybe some for me ( I hate flying). While there we were able to celebrate my older sisters birthday, her oldest sons birthday and my youngest brothers birthday. They were 30, 10, and 15. We also got to go to Six Flags discovery kingdom. Sadie did really well there too. My mom and I were even helpers in the dolphin show. We had to sing and dance in front of hundreds of people but we got to pet the dolphins after they splashed us. I walked around soaking wet the whole day. Oh and I was able to watch my brother Brian ,who is 21, compete in a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament. He kind of works at the gym and so he knows the owner well, after he finished his weight class his friend and the owner of the gym 'B' decided to put him in some extra fights in the 205lbs and up class. My brother weighs 160, but he is really good and so it wasn't very hard for him. Anyway, the trip was really fun as far as activities were concerned. Everyone in my family is doing really well except for my grandmother. She was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. While we were there she had several doctors appointments. A couple of days after we got home I got a call from my mom. The doctors gave my grandma 6 months to a year. There isn't really anything they can do for her either. It is very heart breaking for me. I love my grandma a lot and I wish that I could just keep her forever. She is the only member of my family that tells me she loves me when I get off the phone with her. It is at this time I wish that I could live closer to my family. I don't know how much time I have left with her, or how many times I have left to sit and talk to her. I just know that she will be happy to be with my grandfather and aunt again after more than 30 years apart. Not wanting to end on a downer I will leave you with a few pictures of Sadie, some are of her in her first bubble bath. She was very scared to sit down in the water it was funny.

She loves to draw now.
So cute Daddy and Sadie

Her first pig tail, I don't think she likes it.
