Oh My Goodness!

Ok so it happened a few days ago but Sadie has taken her first steps by herself. She can only take a few steps at a time before becoming to wobbly, but she can do it. Here we go. We should be up in Rexburg on Monday or Tuesday.

3 Years

There is frosting on my face, under my chin.

Today is mine and Scott's 3rd anniversary. It is hard to believe that it has already been 3 years since we were married. I remember being newly married, I still feel as crazy about Scott as I did then, only more. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful man as my husband. He does so much and works so hard for us. Thank you to my husband for all that he does and thank you to my Heavenly Father for blessing me with him.

Play Time and Crafts

I thought that this was such a cute picture of Sadie with her youngest cousin Bryer. My sister had to have surgery on her foot today and so Bryer got to come over. He and Sadie played all day, they had so much fun getting into all kinds of trouble. Sorry the picture is a little blurry.

I have been having such a fun time coming up with things to make. I really wanted to make a pillow so I came up with this. I cut a bunch of different width strips and sewed them together. Such fun, it is going to be for Sadie's room. I used all the different fabrics that I have been using to make Sadie hair clips, toys and skirts.

Getting Excited

We are getting excited to come back to Rexburg. It is going to be a great summer. Not much has been happening lately, besides my dad breaking his arm. I had so much to say when I started this post and now I am just tired. Oh that reminds me, Sadie is getting in one of her molars. It made for a very long Friday night, the poor thing. She couldn't stop crying until almost 4 when she finally fell asleep in my moms arms while she rocked her in the recliner. I don't know what it is about my mom but she can always put Sadie to sleep so quickly no matter what. I then proceeded to spend the rest of the night in the recliner with her asleep in my arms. I know that we most definitely need a rocker recliner when we get back. Although last night she slept through the night. I decided to take her off of dairy and switch her back to sensitive formula, I think she might have a problem with it like me. It is really sad because she loves her yogurt melt aways. While my parents were in Salt Lake my mom said she had a dream about buying Sadie a glittery lion. That day she found something that looked just like what she saw in her dream and so she bought it for her. It is now Sadie's kitty or kiki in my and Sadie's language. She loves it.

It is better than the giant pink ladybug bean bag chair that she got her for Easter. Sadie was so terrified of it for the first few days. I set her down in the room with it and turned to leave for a moment and Sadie was crawling after me screaming. I must be a mean mom because I thought it was so funny, I wish I had it on film.

Sadie and the scary lady bug, and I know, she ran out of clothes that matched so she is wearing a red shirt and lavender onesie.

Something that I do have on film is her dancing. It isn't the best clip of her dancing, but it gives you a taste, it is much better or enthusiastic in person.

She tends to wiggle her bum, it is a little hard to see in this video. Oh and back to what this post was originally intended for, we may be back up in rexburg a little later than we thought. My dad wants Scott to stay and do some work on my uncles house so we might not be up until the week after next.

It is official

We are moving back to Rexburg in about 10 days. We got an apartment on Andrews pl. We are really excited to be coming back and seeing our friends and family. Hopefully everything works out up there, I might even go back to school and finish my bachelors, and Scott might try to get into school and get his degree so that he can get his contractors license. Coming to California has been such a great blessing in our lives. It seems that even though there are a lot of people going through hard times right now we have somehow managed to stay out of that group. We were having a lot of hard times before we left and now all the doors we needed to have opened have indeed done just that. I know that I am going to miss my family just as much as I did before, but it will be a little easier to handle knowing that three of my siblings are leaving too. My brother reports to the MTC tomorrow, my sister will be moving in a few months though they aren't quite sure where, and my older brother may be gone to. It seems that it has come to a time when everyone is going their own way so it makes it easier not being the only one so far away. I guess I just feel rejuvenated having been able to spend so much time with my family these last few months. Yesterday was a great day as well. It was the last day that my whole family will have been together for 2 years, it was my departed grandfathers birthday, it was Easter, and my brother was set apart as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am truly grateful for my life and my family. There are days when I feel that I couldn't possibly be more blessed than I am. Can't wait to see you all.

So Sleepy

My poor baby. She wouldn't let me rock her to sleep so I gave her some snacks. Five minutes later I heard snoring and saw this.

Sadies photo shoot

So it isn't the best quality. This is just one of the ones that they sent me, I don't have the rights to them but I didn't want to take the time to scan the photos so I did this. She was such a good girl and smiled the whole time. My brother leaves on Tuesday to report to the M.T.C., and after that the job is over and we will be moving back to Rexburg. Well at least that is the plan so far. Who knows what will happen.

I know it has been a little while since my last post. It may be a little while longer. I lost my camera, sorry there aren't any pictures. Though I wanted to say that I loved conference. It was really nice to be with my whole family this year, especially since my brother is leaving in a week.
